Think about the safety of our children I have seen to many people speeding through school zones paying no attention unless there is a crossing guard there please keep them there for our kids you do not want a child killed on your watch .

The highway in front of the school is very very busy all the time with tractors, large trucks and lots of traffic... this is a major highway.....Crossing guard is needed at the DACS to keep the students and their parents SAFE...

This is a VERY busy crossing in the morning and at dismissal. Even with a crossing guard there are close calls on a very regular basis. It is imperative that a crossing guard remain at this location for the safety of the children.

#21 Hwy is a major highway with way to much truck and car traffic to not have someone stop the traffic and guide the children across the street!

Being a small town within a larger municipality doesn't mean our needs and concerns should be lumped in with everyone else. Our children are going to be expected to cross KINGS HWY 21 without an adult present or a lighted crosswalk. I personally have seen cars run the crosswalk even with the crossing guard present wearing Bright orange and carrying a Stop sign. What is going to happen when a small 6 year old tries to cross without assistance?

Our children's safety is the main concern. We all know that if there isn't a crossing guard how else will kids cross. By running,darting between cars. Someone will get hurt. Please this is foe the kids.

I believe we are asking for trouble letting little ones find their own was across the street. when did our children become non-important? If there was an accident or a fatality someone may decide to put a crossing guard back on. Why risk any children??

This is vitally important to the safety of the children and parents hundreds of people attend this school a day, many needing the crosswalk as there is minimal parking on the same side of the street as the school
