The solution to the drug epidemic is Dr Shafa and his work. It needs to be built upon and produced on a wider scale. Instead of furthering his methods, they're trying to throw him in jail. It's a disgrace.

Dr. Shafa is one of the best Psychiatrist in this country!! To have this happen to a doctor that actually cares for his patients is a travesty!!! He gave me my life and happiness back. He made me realize that there is more than just depression and animosity in this world. I am more than positive I will never find another doctor like him!!! If you have ever had a doctor like this, you wouldn’t have made this ruling!!! Please rethink this and change this ruling, let him practice again!!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Shafa’s for the past 11 (+) years, seeing him consistently every 30-45 days, and walking proof that his methods and treatments help people with addiction and mental disorders! He is truly passionate about curing addiction, providing and putting the required resources in place to assist people hurting and living with mental health disorders.
Dr.Shafa’s unbelievably professional, some times a little naive do to his honest nature And trustworthy character, which are extremely important in his profession! But some people have tried to take advantage of his kindness in the past and he still accepted them back as patients, and helped them!
Above all he cares and wants to help people... not hurt them!
I am walking proof at 40 years old with 11 years of Dr Shafa’s treatment... I’m sober and my mind is clean! I’m extremely fortunate to have my career and it never drastically impacted by my poor decisions 11 years ago. I now work for a major tech firm with a leadership role! I would not be here with our Dr. Shafa!
Dr. Shafa also helped my brother Nick 9 years ago and he is still clean and sober and has achieved amazing success living a healthy life in Florida with his wife and son for the past 11 years!
Dr. Shafa gave my family the best gift ever! Their two oldest boys, back... healthy, happy, sober, content and successful!

I have been seeing Dr. SHAFA since 2019. He his one of the most caring persons I know. He treats all of his patients like a close friend. He has helped me greatly. This is a deep loss to his patients as well as the psychiatric / recovery community.

Dr. Shafa is not a criminal, he is a life saver. If it were not for this man, I would most likely be dead now. He helped me when no one else in the medical field would. Dr. Shafa is an exceptional human being and doctor. My fiance has been his patient since 2013. After months of being turned away from multiple hospitals, behavioral health workers and therapists; we found Dr. Shafa. The mental health system failed us every step of the way. I was addicted to opiates for many years and Dr Shafa got me on the right meds and along with his group meetings I've been clean since 2007. Dr. Shafa is the best physician I have ever known. He has brought me through deep episodes of depression. Deaf-Autistic son, Son dead at age 15. Eight Cardiac Arrests ( I have a defibrillator which shocks me back), a stroke,and unlivable conditions at home. He is very smart and practices medicine proficiently and accurately with a Big Human touch! (rare). I have been a patient of Dr. Shafa for 19 years. I will see him again in the office soon.

I’ll start by saying DR SHAFA SAVED MY LIFE! I started with him as my doctor March 2014 and have been sober ever since. I NEVER could have done it without him. He is more like family to all his patients than anything he truly cares about us all and does whatever he can to help. I honestly can’t even believe this is happening to such a kind, caring person. Nina and doctor Shafa stay in the office until EVERYONE gets seen no matter what time it is or what’s going on, the patients are ALWAYS top priority. Taking him from all his patients is absolutely awful, so many people depend on him for guidance and support. WE ALL LOVE YOU DR SHAFA AND NINA AND WILL DO WHATEVER WE CAN TO HELP!
