This statement above, by the Board of Medical Licensure and Discipline, is a contradiction to how his patients feel about Dr. Marvell.
Dr. Marvell truly has affected many addicts lives, as my own. I would probably never started recovery if not for his support, listening and caring.
This petition is to ask the Board of Medical Licensure and Discipline to reconsider the suspension of Dr. Philemon Truesdale Marvell M.D, and the immediate re-instatement of his medical license so that his patients can again benefit from his support and caring.

The stories shared by others regarding Dr. Marvell demonstrate the profound impact he has had on our community. I am currently reviewing our options for submitting this formal request to the Board of Medical Licensure and Discipline.

My son owes his sobriety to this man. So wrong.
He actually cares about his patients. Why do they always want to fire the good ones who actually get results???
The board has no idea what they are talking about. He is the best doctor in this city and losing him is going to hurt so many people in recovery.
Dr. Marvell literally saved my life. He is the only doctor who actually listens to what we are going through instead of just judging us.
This is total garbage. He helped me get clean when nobody else would even give me the time of day. Bring him back immediately!!

Whatever they claim he did is probably blown out of proportion. We need him back at the clinic.
