^Link above gives more insight from owner, staff, and players.^

Donaldson golf course is a 9-hole regulation course near Greenville, South Carolina. It was established in the 1940's as a private facility for military personnel to spend some free time. The base was also home of Do-Littles Raiders, the B-52 bomb squads that answered the call after Japan attacked Hawaii in WWII. It opened to the public in 1965.

The Concern: March of this year the owner received a certified letter informing her she had until the end of August to close her business. She inherited the business and has ran it for 40 years. The land is owned by the city, county, and SCTAC. Their plans are to build a test strip for aircraft from the nearby base. With this petition we're aiming to negotiate possible options with the hopes they may consider a compromise.

Not only have generations of golfers enjoyed their time there, it should also be viewed as a historical course in regards to the soldiers who played there. The friendly atmosphere, great rates, and restored WWII jets taking off while you tee off make it one of a kind! Please help us spread the word so younger generations may have an affordable place to go in the future! Thank you for your time!
