Stop WotC from shutting down dndtools.eu

The thing I find weirdest, is that they could have just as easily endorsed the site as an archive of their past achievements and given it an official stamp of approval, making it above board and gaining fantastic PR in the process.

DnD Tools has been incredibly valuable to my campaigns. Without it, I would be even less inclined to buy the official WotC books (since they are usually more convenient), and especially knowing they're the reason for the downfall of dndtools, I have even less incentive to give them any more of my money.

It's great site and its not like they public or support their old products anymore. might aswell let fans use it how they will. You shut one down 2 more will appear. Hail Hydra!

WOTC should pay for this site. This is a must site for promoting D&D.

WoTC, you could very well use the money you put into closing DnDTools to other ends that would increase the base of D&D fans, rather than decrease it. Seriously.

d&d is going to lose a lot more players if they keep attacking their online fans like this.

WotC should encourage its community to develop such tools. Spend your money on creation, not destruction!

It is very sad to see that very useful website that was helping me to refer to the books (and magazines) I own disappear...

What's wrong WOTC? 4th and 5th edition not enough for you? Why would you block any sort of reference to a twice outdated gaming system? Seems just mean spirited.

This site was very convenient, clean, and simply useful. It's a shame that WotC would destroy something that provided for a large portion of the commuinity. Not to mention the FREE promotion it provided.

Please bring back D&D tools. As someone that owns a copy of every 3.0 and 3.5 book, and continues to buy WOTC products, (such as all currently available 5e books) I found myself referencing D&D tools overy my hard copies, because as an indexing system it is amazing. If you don't understand why we like D&D tools, I present to you the following challenges. 1. Try to write up a spell list for a 20th level wizard that focuses specifically on water based damage and utility spells, in under 15 minutes. 2. Find all 3.0 and 3.5 versions of the Recitation spell in under 15 seconds. 3. Learn what the feats Robilar's Gambit, Stormguard Warrior, Rapid Blitz and Arcane Strike do and what books they're from, in less than 4 minutes. I could do this with D&D tools, I cannot with my hard copies.
