Music is an important part of education and stays with you well after you leave school. Studies show that folks with musical knowledge are less depressed and overall more satisfied with life.

Art programs are some of some of the only places people have in school where they feel safe, where they feel they can socialize. People need that. It'd be bad on your school, to take that away from these students.

It’s super selfish to take away these programs just bc u don’t wanna pay/ hire new teachers, plus every student should be allowed to take a class about a subject they’re passionate about
