This is an important part in Shipley park. It is run by the young people which you can see how they all love it. Do not close.

Please don’t close the tearoom

This is more than a tea room it is a REAL benefit for these people

It’s all money money money for this council, wonder who’s on the fiddle this time?

Please keep this wonderful, community facility open

The tea room is a part of the community and to take it away would have a detrimental effect! They are lovely people and do a lovely job.

Keep Derby Lodge tear rooms open

One of the best tea rooms and garden in the East Midlands, excellent dog walking cafe. Get someone living there and run the cafe, be dynamic and creative and stop being negative and defeatist.

Please keep these tea rooms open! I go every week with family and my dogs! x

Love tearooms in parks

A truly welcoming Tea Rooms that provide a welcome central point at which to enjoy a cup of tea whilst enjoying Shipley park.

We need places like this, we don’t have much in the area as it is !!

Such a lovely park

This is a lovely cafe and the staff are so friendly. Would be very sad to see it go. Its a lot better than the visitors centre cafe.

This is a loved and valued venue....it will go to ruin and be a hotspot for squatters etc. As a council you have an obligation to take care of your properties... at least by keeping it open it is suntanned and generating an income to offset its costs

This is a great tea room and toilet facility for walkers. Don’t let it close!

Please keep it going rather than let it fall into disrepair . It’s frequently packed with dog walkers , cyclists and the occasional horse rider.

Love this place. I truly would be a loss if it closes.

What a resource providing work for people with disabilities and a great resource for the park and it’s community I can’t believe people would close it
