The Tillamook City Planning Department is being eliminated on June 30th. With the proposed intergovernmental agreement, the County is going to be handling current planning issues for the City.

Dave Mattison, who has been the City Planner in Tillamook for the last 17 years was told this past April that he is being layed off due to "budget" reasons.

What this means to you:

Why should you be concerned about losing your local and reliable City Planner who is available Monday thru Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

1) This could create long wait times for zoning questions and zoning permits.
