There's a lot of money going into landscaping and stuff that we don't need. Clearly you can afford to pay the people that we RELY on and actually NEED! Get a grip on reality and do the right thing!

As a former firefighter I understand the importance of the job. There are other areas to cut than here

Why would you cut positions of people who HELP a community? Where's the logic behind any of that? Idiots.

It is ridiculous that year after year the Danville Fire Department and Danville Police Department have to fight for their jobs while they are protecting the people of Danville. The Mayor is an idiot and so are the people who continue to elect him. Don't cut the firefighters, get rid of the Mayor!

With minimum staffing already the cutting of firefighter puts not only the remaining firefighter in danger but also any citizen or person traveling through there. Please save these jobs!!!

Instead of putting in all the new lights and stuff you should be thinking about the homes that could be lost due to not having enough fire fighters on duty. When people lose their homes or bussiness due to the cities lack of fire fighter they will start to move out of Danville. The city is trying to get more local bussiness to come here. Thy will all be leaving when they cant get response in a timely manner. Stop thinking about cutting the fire department and put the cut backs in other places.
