The loss of an attractive and historically valuable Victorian stable block which has housed several very useful businesses for decades would also be a very sad loss. A four story block in such a small residential area would not only be a modern eyesore amongst generally low rise buildings but would also be a terrible invasion of privacy for the properties immediately surrounding the development. Some of whom would have windows looking onto their gardens.

the size of the proposed development is far too high and entirely out of keeping with the character of the surrounding conservation area.

It seems the current planning application is for too large a development, impinging on the privacy of surrounding residents and reduces the valuable space for businesses (= jobs) in the local area.
Think again, PLEASE!

Characterful buildings would be lost, development too high, unattractive, will create a wind tunnel in Dalton Road. Any chance of converting existing buildings into flats, small houses? Also some green areas in West Norwood - good for the environment and people's mental and physical health.

A four storey development is completely out of character with the rest of the road and the surroundings. it would be MUCH too big. there would be loss of light and privacy to the local houses and a negative impact on the already crowded parking on local streets

Please save these important buildings from being demolished and replaced with something out of scale and character with the area. These building should be covered under the conservation area.

Too high, too many units, out of keeping with the area and the extra cars would increase pollution in already overcrowded roads. Squeezing as many buildings as possible on small plots of land is not going to enhance the quality of life of existing or potential residents. Leave some space and plant more trees.

Tulse Hill is charming - don't ruin it. It has enough blocks of flats as it is.

Too high and too many units. Loss of yet more local businesses. Out of character with properties close by. Loss of privacy to adjoining properties. Lack of infrastructure to cope with more residents esp trains!
