It’s outrageous and absurd that some schools choose to stay closed, yet you’ve had stores, restaurants and places of business packed with people and many maskless. Other public and private schools and daycares schools across our nation and other nations have been opened safely and many without masks and without “social distancing”. This “virus” has a 99.96% survival rate. Same as the flu. Many experts even say this is most always the flu misdiagnosed and that the test protocols are completely flawed and meaningless. The WHO even made extreme changes to what constitutes a “positive” case 1 month ago on January 20th. 75% reduction in cases as a result. Car accidents, heart attacks and strokes are often included in the count. The CDC even said that 94% of deaths cannot be truly be attributed to covid and that there was another cause of death other than covid. Even President Biden in his recent Town-hall said there is no risk to kids. So let’s finally open the schools fully, take off the useless and dirty masks that do nothing except give people bacterial pneumonia, nausea and headaches and cause trouble breathing and also stop with the anti-social distancing, and harmful hand sanitizers. None of it was considered scientifically useful or healthy in all of history and yet all that is ignored in the last year because the non-stop, media-driven, fear hysteria. It’s time to bring back common sense, sanity and critical thinking and open the schools just like everything that is already open.

Basketball is a high risk activity according to the CDC. The CDC also states “most students returning to school full time is an intermediate risk.” Their political agenda and virtue signaling are D219’s priorities, not education.

Maine south, Maine East and Maine west as well as new trier.
Some of our feeder schools like Lincoln Hall has been full time from the fall.
D219 we are better than this. Let's get our kids back in school. Not 2 half days

Maine township high schools back full time
Glenbrook high schools back full time. Enough is enough science has said teacher and students are safe to return to school.

Other school districts have figured out how to be in session. Why can’t 219 look at what has worked and what has not and adapt a plan? Why isn’t this huge equity issue getting more attention?
