This can't happen , there are many other ways to bring revenue to the park , family's go swimming , boating , and camping there with there children . it is a favoritized spot for many people , I know myself I drive there very other just to sit and watch the water . its a calm non crowded place for family's and loved ones to spend time at .

I don't know everything about this but I do love cultus lake and I don't think it could use new housing.

My kids spent many happy summer days there. Why does City Hall not take notice of taxpayers when they express their oposition to something that will not really improve things in the long run.

There has already been too much development. Remember the beautiful trees in the giant parking lot at the waterslides? They'll never come back. Leave the rest of the park alone!!!

Keep Cultas the way it is. It's already a bottleneck to go hiking think how worse it would get.

I was born and raised in Chilliwack. My family spent our summers at Cultus Lake. We lived there from June to September every year for 6 years. The thing I loved the most was the quiet and the tranquility. The slower pace of life there. There is no need for new developments.

I grew up in Vedder, going to cultas lake every summer. Many memories and fun times with friends and family. It is disgusting that the thought of tearing all this down to develop the area sickens me.

Cultus lake is a Natural Beauty... There's already too much development. It's a Nature Park, not Disney Land.

I say no!!! Stop allowing greedy developers and government officials from selling off our natural resources! At this time Cultus Lake Park is an area that all can enjoy. If they allow these townhouses/condos to be built then that area will only be accessible by the owners of these properties. Not to mention I would much rather see mother nature in all of her glory than more blooming buildings!

I am so tired of the government selling away our wonderful parks, forests, etc. for the almighty buck. It's right to sell of this beautiful park and destroy all the wonders of nature that all can enjoy so that only a few can enjoy it. Leave our parks, lakes and forests alone!
