I was surprised when I heard this! It would be a tremendous loss on easties history and great foods it has. Pizza at 2a.m fresh! The bakery is even better with the old fashion cookies and bread they served for over 70years.
I'd stand in front of the building and tie myself before they ruined it for a Dunkin Donuts. Reason, is because if you look at eastie you already have 3 or 4 Dunkin donuts in eastie. One in orient heights near constitution beach not including speedway near Suffolk downs area and or the Winthrop bridge, One in maverick and the other by liberty plaza. It would just be ashame for it to go like that. Like we don't need more coffee shops around. Convenient stores sell coffee too. I'm done

Save Cucchiello's Bakery! This bakery has been part of East Boston and family owned for 70 years we do not need another Dunkin Donuts, there are 3 within 3 miles throughout Eastie. Great Friends, great family, great bakery. Save Cucchiello's
