The sale of the building has been officially cancelled and Cucchiello's Bakery will remain in our neighborhood. I appreciate the time each of you dedicated to preserving this local institution. We will continue to monitor the situation to ensure this outcome remains permanent.

Please sign this e-petition in an effort to prevent yet another Dunkin Donuts from coming to East Boston. We are in danger of losing one of East Boston's most beloved family owned and operated businesses, Cucchiello's Bakery, who has been informed by its landlord, he sold the building to Dunkin Donuts. Cucchiello's has been in business for 70 years in East Boston, and their community service is above and beyond anything a Dunkin Donuts could ever provide to our neighborhood. Please sign this e-petition and lets begin to fight for a business that has been there for all of us for as long as we know!

Mike is one of those rare "old-timers". He is not in the business of making lot of money , just making the best bread and sweets around for the community!!! If you are short money he just says . That's OK!! Where else can we find someone like this ????

We cannot afford to lose yet another landmark institution, another family run small business, another piece of our identity to the likes of a cold hearted, uninvolved, corporate entity such as DD! May God bless the Cucciello family.

We now live in the North Shore from Revere. I have been going to this bakery for almost 10 years now and still make a special trip once a week . This would be very sad for me and the kids if there were no rides to our favorite bakery any more!!

Love this place! We have enough dunkin donuts around we don't need another. Honestly how is this going to work anyway? It's really not an ideal place for a dunks the logistics of the the traffick alone makes it a horrible location for them!

We do not need another Dunkin Donut here. Did Gus Serra still own the building. Did anyone think to ask the abutters about a Dunkin' Donuts going there? The bakery has the East Boston touch always donating to schools etc....
