Generations of families have attended Crown Valley. Do not give up one of our oldest elementary schools in Laguna Niguel because a charter school can't figure out how to house their own students without disrupting our public schooled children. A better solution is there; stop trying to take the cheap way out and use your big brains to find it.

My elementary school. I went there starting in 1980. It's a great school. I'm a teacher now and am so frustrated with seeing these charter schools come in and ruin communities.

I am a native Laguna Niguel resident. I attended Crown Valley Elementary and Niguel Hills Junior High and am a graduate of Dana Hills High School. Please save this school for future Laguna Niguel Children who have a right to this fine institution. Any change like this charter school is a tragedy and should not be even considered. Sincerely, Isaac Diaz

Children with special needs are as important and should be a priority in this. How he could think school district, including the closure of Crown Valley Elementary, a lot of children with special needs It really will be lost if the school closes, does this go against the law of the rights of special needs. Charter schools do not help children with special needs, Crown Valley School has a great staff, teachers, aides, students and parents! As the mother of a special child, I am very sad to see this happen many children will be affected because they will be separated from their friends and their teachers, the school is like a second home for children, these children will heartbroken if they decide to close the school . It is a great school where my son, study in kindergarten through fifth grade, my son is a special child ADHD and he had the best teachers, the help they gave us not ever forget, that speaks very good school, that makes see that teachers are well prepared and also show how much they love their students. We are opposed the closure of the Crown Valley School. Atte: Veronica Chong and Chong Family

With a large portion of the student population at Crown Valley being special needs and/or part of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing program, it would be especially disruptive to these children to close Crown Valley Elementary. While Charter schools may provide an option for some, they generally do not admit extremely high risk, high need, or challenging students. Closing a neighborhood community public school that houses not only neighborhood children, but many children who require special attention and who are thriving in their current environment, would be a moral crime; Displacing special needs children who are thriving in the caring environment at Crown Valley (for the sake of giving the charter school option ) seems a bit narrow minded and cold hearted.

Charter schools are private schools sucking public funds. Don't fall for their promises. Public schools serve all kids and are accountable to the public. Keep this school public!!
