Save this school. It has a wonderful campus. All 3 of my children went there. My oldest is now 23. Many fond memories and the Teacher are the absolute best you will ever find.

There are already charter schools in the area. If thats what parents choose they have the option.

my 2 boys are current students of Crown Valley and they love their school and classmates. If this will be close down, it will affect the kids' social skills as they will be exposed to new environment again and will start from scratch and try to make friends and build relationships again.

I can see no good reason to close a neighborhood public school and give the building to a charter school that few if any of the neighborhood kids would be able to attend because of the waiting list. Not to mention the 100 special Ed kids that I assume The charter school gets to ignore.

Please keep CVES a neighborhood school. It is a unique place where children with disabilities are afforded the opportunity to be included in classroom and extra curricular activities who do not have these unique attributes. My son attended grades 2 to 5 there and because of his experience there he has grown up to be an amazing, tolerant and compassionate young man. What occurs at this school is not easily replicated. It truly is a very special gem in Laguna Niguel.
