As can be clearly seen in the video, this is a first class estate with a great community and needs repairs instead of demolishment.

I am dismayed by the ongoing idea that council residents and their estates are for sale by the controlling boroughs who in the days of the GLC would have looked after them. This is quite disgusting opportunism dressed up as "regeneration" but nothing of the kind. It's time to make an example of a borough and stop them in their tracks.

Displacing people from their homes to address a housing supply shortage seems like something of an oxymoron surely.

It is absolutely crazy that the Council are contemplating demolishing our homes when the state of repair is due to the Council's lack of investment in the estate over many years. We have lived on Cressingham Gardens Estate for 38 years now and have witnessed the level of neglect by the Council since the Estate was built. Do not destroy our community!

Cressingham Gdns estate is a good location near the Brixton main shopping area, a street and indoor markets, banks, schools, bus and tube services for us residents. There are many good flats, buildings lived in by the 283 young and old residents. We are not happy the Labour run Council is treating us for privatisation, devt and lack a 'Duty of care' to its paying tenants. We may get a Judicial review of the Council landlord's responsibilities to its tenants.

I agree with supporting our community which the conservation area to the estate will brung once its unforced. I love the estate that has so much support and a great community atmosphere.

Please don't change this estate, ruining a community won't save you money in the long run!

Refurbishing and repairing is the only option. It has been proven to work well at other Neave Brown and Patrick Hodginkson buildings. They're solid and robust and can take these sort of improvements. Underpinning issues to do with trees are all solveable and could have been prevented with proper maintenance. Improve what is there. The gardens are an enlivened route through to Brockwell Park. Another Brockwell gate would be a travesty and an imbalancing of the community.

This is a jewel in the crown of Lambeth's social housing. We should be proud of it and cherish something so precious instead of destroying it and handing the site over to private developers.

Cressingham Gardens Estate needs Refurbishment and every repair completed as the area is known for being safe and friendly. Great view of the park and and community orientated.
