As a post-bacc alum (2012) and current 3rd year medical student I can truly say I would not be where I am today without the post-bacc program. The learning tools and strategies I learned in the post-bacc program I still use till this day. More importantly, the post-bacc program addresses one of medicine's most important problems today--the lack of diversity of the workforce. Making this change would surely be a step backward for our school in regards to diversity. The point of a good medical school is to be at the forefront of change, which this action would clearly stray away from. I hope you reconsider this decision, and the negative effects it could have for our school.

As a prospective student I feel that the post baccalaureate program would provide me with the second chance; it would allow for better MCAT preparation, show me how to interact with my colleagues and would give me invaluable insinvaluabledical school.

I am currently working at a community clinic providing care for the underserved population. The post-Bac program was an essential part of my education and enable me to achieve my dream. Please don't take away such a great and meaningful program.

I truly believe that I could not have become a physician were it not for the support, education, guidance that I received as a student I'm the Creighton Post Bacc program. it would be a shame to deny this same opportunity to the future minority healthcare leaders.

This is comment after proof reading...I have been in practice for over 30 years. The number of people I have treated in those years, is a testament to the success of the Post bacc program. Minority culture very often does not have an understanding that they CAN be professionals providing health care to society.This program has given many an opening to get into a very difficult but productive field. I have been in practice for 30yrs....The number of people I have treated in those years is a testament to the success of the Postbacc program. Minority culture in general does not have a understanding that they can be professionals proving health care to society. Eliminating this program would be contradictory to the "Jesuit" principles that Creighton claims to hold so dear. I and many others would take offense.

my experience was so beneficial to my education and daily growth. I am indebted to this program for helping my dreams of becoming a physician come true. The individualized attention we got as students in the program was what helped me be more successful than in a larger classroom setting.

Post-bacc solidarity! We need more diversity in medicine (in every sense of the word) to reflect our increasingly diverse population and we need more non-traditional medical students, AND we need more doctors period! Let's stop creating increasing barriers and start supporting and encouraging people who are truly passionate about medicine, social justice, and cura personalis from become physicians and leaders in healthcare.

Please keep this wonderful Program as is. I feel as if it would be a detriment to society if the administration decides to cut it. I am a current sophomore dental student at creighton and if it were not for this program I would not be where I am today. As an advocate of Hispanic culture and success I feel that this program helped to mature the tools/gifts I needed to succeed.
