Enough with the over development, already. Even worse is more and more foreign ownership. We need more local small business ownership who pay into and give back to our communities. Not foreign investors here to make a quick million to stash away in some offshore tax haven.

Country Village is a must when we visit family in the Seattle area. Each shop offers something special whether it be product or service that you can't get anywhere else with the same charm and personal touch. My children love seeing the chickens freely strolling the grounds as well as the train, playground and ice cream shop. The prized gem of Bothell.

As a small business owner myself, I know the value of having a nice, consistent place to operate out of. I also appreciate monuments from our past. Country Village helps keep Bothell's past alive while providing many businesses a place to call home. Letting developers demolish this land would tear apart a piece of our community and everyone who comes to enjoy it.

Don't tear down this community gathering place. I along with my wife rent a booth in Town hall antique mall. We use this as an outlet for our weekend picking adventures. Sharing our love of funky junk to the rest of the community. I have personally enjoyed country village for 25years. There are still plenty of lots all around the area to become developed.

I have grown up in Bothell and can't imagine a Christmas without doing my shopping there. I also go for wonderful BBQ and to get my dog groomed. Don't let this unique place become cookie cutter.

Country Village is a Bothell land mark. My family of 7 that is now a family of 25 shop and eat there. Christmas is awesome, we love the ducks and southern food. Please, we have enough town homes, Cindy's and houses.
