Saved Cougar Mountain!

We already have hundreds of new residents to come, who will rent the massive complexes between the Lakemont exit and downtown, with no help to alleviate their crushing traffic on our two-lane road. Who in their right minds thinks this is proper PLANNING! We residents of Montreux are not happy with any more forced development.

After seeing Talus landslide, the risk here seems high. Save our green spaces and hillsides.

Please think about our next generationS !! Thank you.

This is habitat for wildlife that is part of the fundamental beauty of the area. Do not develop this land.

We need to preserve natural spaces to make living in this increasingly crowded place pleasurable. Nature soothes.

Short-sighted development of public lands for the profit of a few is reprehensible and should be checked whenever possible. Do not allow any more development on Cougar Mountain.

The wildlife has already taken a HUGE ‘hit’ in our area, please keep Cougar Mountain wild!

Look at what happened when they tried to develop the upper reaches of Talus. You will have more of the same issues here...it wasn't meant to be developed and best use is for recreation and keeping a wildlife corridor. Preserving the Cougar/Squak Corridor was a smart move and preserving this would have the same benefit.

This space is not suitable for roads and housing for humans. It is suitable for wildlife. Leave it be. Leave the wildlife some habitat. Otherwise, you are forcing them into contact with humans -- with generally poor outcomes for both!

Don’t develop this!!!!

We need a long term view to preserve these last remaining pieces of land that connect us with nature. Keep development and density of course where we've already built, but we need to preserve and protect the last big chunks like Cougar Mountain for our well being as creatures of the earth.

I absolutely love running and hiking Cougar as it just a stones throw from my families house. I'm very protective of this area and often help those who are lost, volunteer for local organizations that hold events here and clean up litter along the many trails I enjoy there.I love seeing bears, deer and owls on my runs and who love to preserve this area for my two daughters and for future generations in our area.

I believe it's vitally important that we save all available land within our suburban environment not only for the animals, but also for the general health (both physical & mental) of our citizens.

I grew up around this area and I’m 58 now. What few nature trails that remain are crowded and heavily used as it is. Even the parcels left that don’t have recreational trails are important for wildlife habitat. We need to preserve the little bit of nature that is left for future generations and to keep the spirit of the Northwest alive.

Please don’t pave paradise!!!!

Please purchase this property because it will have greater economic impact in the future as a conservation greenway. We need to have green spaces for city folk to be able to wander in. There is too little left of the lowland coastal forest. Build issaquah up if that's what it has to take and make sure developers pay for mass transit and public transportation as well.

Please save what is left of a beautiful place on earth, I still have hope that good can be done

Please preserve this beautiful property for wildlife and for all future generations. If we don't do it now, it will be gone forever.

runaway development is destroying the beauty and desirability of the area, and will degrade the vey things that make Issaquah/Sammamish so attractive.
