Creed should remain open and brought to New Haven. Creed #’s would be much higher if the BOE stopped MARGINALIZING them. We need to do right by our students and closing their school is not the solution.

People who will see my name as a person who signed this petition will be surprised due to my lack of motivation for school. However, that has nothing to do with Creed. Creed is a great small school. Overtime I’ve grown close to many students and staff here. Although I am a senior and you may think the closure won’t affect me, it will. Closing down Creed will put many other kids out into schools that are outside of their comfort zone while also putting teachers I consider more than just teachers out of jobs. Please consider other options for Creed!

Someone didn't do their job, so in consequence, the school gets closed. Let's come up with a better plan in a way you don't punish the students of the school.
