Simple: Its an adult show with all the elements of a good drama contained within a supernatural element that I (and others) enjoy. With your competition on the ABC network employing crossovers with their Marvel properties and your other competitors looking to do so with Gotham on FOX, your best platform for longevity using developed characters in the comic world would be to base the VERITGO product line in your eco-system with CONSTANTINE as the foundation. Underground cult followers are pushing for Neil Gaiman's THE SANDMAN to be made into a feature film or HBO-like series and there are very close ties with CONSTANTINE and this soon to be developed project. The Marvel and traditional DC comic lines have mass appeal. VERITGO is more (though under the DC/Warner studio) is more adult oriented and in my opinion, when the walls start to break from pay-tv's more permissive language and content to adaptability on late evening network broadcasts, more of these gritty suspense shows will have a place and a long running series with a built in foundation can be what your FRIDAY nights can build upon for the foreseeable future. COMCAST may even want to do a stand-alone streaming product one day and having a series like this would help command a premium audience if packaged with other more adult themed shows over a few seasons. Finally, your must factor in your international audience now - more than ever. Many people - worldwide - would find this show appealing than maybe something that is more US specific over the long term.

Episode 13 finally puts all the pieces in place for a great series. Ideal actor for the lead role and the rest of the cast is damn good as well. Endless Hellblazer story lines, fascinating additional characters (Spectre, Swamp Thing etc). Why start something totally new when everything is working well with this cast and story?

Episode 13 finally puts all the pieces in place for a great series. Ideal actor for the lead role and the rest of the cast is damn good as well. Endless Hellblazer story lines, fascinating additional characters (Spectre, Swamp Thing etc). Why start something totally new when everything is working well with this cast and story?

This show is wonderfully written and cast. It is not only the live action version of the Hellblazer comics that I've been waiting for, it also has the potential to be one of the best Urban Fantasy series ever.

What kind of idiots are the honchos at NBC to even think about not renewing Constantine for a seond, third & more seasons? This is one of the best new series onTV!! Don't be a Fox kind of channel, ok! Make the right choice and bring this great series back. You won't be sorry!

its been awhile since ive seen a show this good. ive always been a huge fan of angel vs demon movies and now that tgey have a AMAZING show that will always keep making new stories. the station will lose me as a viewer and alot more
