As a long standing fan of the Hellblazer comic book I couldn't imagine anyone doing as good a job as Matt Ryan in bringing to life one of the most beloved and complicated Comic Book characters of the modern era. The first series really got going and surpassed all expectations and with time to develop and breathe could be develop into one hell of a show in comparison with a lot of the run of the mill dirge that's about. #SaveConstantine

As a long-time reader of the source material, I was dubious about the prospects of this adaptation. But the show found its legs very quickly, and is a worthy addition to the airwaves. Given the chance, I'm certain it will grow an audience.
