Following the success of Flash and Arrow, Constantine is a pivotal step in the right direction for DC/Vertigo adaptations, as well as comic book adaptations in general. Hellblazer set new standards for comic books, and the art of storytelling. NBC -- to lose hope in Constantine is to not only do a huge disservice to the world of comics and TV, but to do a disservice to yourself in losing what could be one of the biggest hits you've ever had.

I'll admit I've never read the "Hellblazer" comics, but ever since seeing the 2005 film "Constantine" I've always found the concept of the character and his world to be pretty cool stuff. For all the supposed "horror" titles out there in, both, movie and TV land, I rarely ever put much stock into said titles because, frankly, none of them really impress me. That being said, I've enjoyed Constantine a lot, thus far, and would love to see where the franchise can go given a few seasons to really strut its stuff. I think the atmosphere of the show itself is fairly creepy for a network series and has a lot of potential with its mystical/occult background, and I would really like to see where the creators/producers can take it. Please don't like Fox and cancel another gem-in-the-making (like they did to "Almost Human").
