A show like this is about building atmosphere, taking time to establish characters and relationships. It's a slow courtship, don't punish it for not being a Vegas wedding. Give the show the time it needs and it can last for many, many seasons.

This is one of the greatest comic adaptations I have ever seen. The writers and producers clearly understand the tone of the series, and Matt Ryan was the perfect choice for the titular character. With the indication of major events to come, one of which DC comic fans will rejoice seeing, this show has vast potential. John Constantine deserves time in the mainstream, and I know that whatever happens, I'll watch this show until the end. Hopefully many years from now.
