If you are going to cut a sport because of collisions, cut football. Rugby is a teamsport like no other. There is place for every body size. I myself play first division rugby in Europe and I just weigh 110 lbs. There is no other sport where I can give myself completly. There is no other sport that gives me as much pleasure as rugby

Rugby in college is part of living the well-rounded life. It would be a shame to lose that part of the college education at Colby. Also as a former Bates rugger, I would hate to lose the spirited rivalry between our schools. Go Bobcats! And save Colby rugby!

The privilege to play rugby should not be decided by the administration. That is a decision that student should make. Go bobcats, but lots of respect for the mules.

Rugby is a long standing tradition of honor, courage, leadership, and team bonding. I have never been as close to anyone in my life (besides my partner) as I am with my team at Purdue University. BOILER UP!

MULTIPLE STUDIES HAVE SHOWN THAT RUGBY DOES NOT HAVE A SIGNIFICANTLY HIGHER INCIDENCE OF INJURY THAN OTHER CONTACT SPORTS

As a 25 year veteran of the sport and still playing, it would be a shame to see the college shut down the sport.

Joining the women's rugby team at Tufts University changed my life. Rugby is an amazing sport that has an enormously positive impact on the lives of those who play it. As a former opponent of Colby and former president of TWRFC, it would be very very disappointing to see Colby lose such a great club and sport!
Don't shut down Colby Rugby!
