I grew up in Coker Creek and still live there now. I attended Coker Creek School when I was growing up and still have family who attend there now. They have been trying to shut the school down for years and it wrong. Keep it open for our community to continue to grow.

My children matter. Don't take them to a school with a 4 rating and bus them for an extra half hour to a school with a 1 rating. Instead of closing our school, maybe it's staff should receive praise for educating students more effectively with less resources. Instead of closing our school, maybe a team should come gather information and make a plan to immulate our success in other schools.

i can not believe they are trying to close the school! I always wished my boys had gone to Coker Creek. Now I live in Tampa, and wish my son who is 6 and goes to a city public school. If these people who were trying to close this amazing school had to send their children to public schools like what are in Tampa, they would be signing this petition too.
