it would be a slap in the face to take this communities school away from them. What makes these children any less special than the other students in the county. I attended Coker creek and it is a great school.

I have lived in Coker creek all most my whole life and the test scores and one on on attention that each teacher is able to provide to these kids has always been a benefit.

This school needs to stay open! Why does every other school in Monroe County get to keep their PE, Library, and Art and CCES doesn't. That is not fair at all. Shutting down Coker Creek will not help the budget. There are cuts elsewhere that need to be made.
