I cannot believe that it is even a consideration to let coach Sergio go. He is not just a regular PE teacher. He is the heart and soul of TPES, and like family to all of us. He is the superhero our kids need to have in their life. He shows up everywhere he is needed to help. He donates unlimited time and love to our community, always with a smile and positive attitude. My kids have all embraced sports because of him. I am totally going into a bidding war for his outing at every gala auction.

My children had him at YMCA preschool many years ago and he was a miracle worker with 3-5 yr olds.

I'm not a TPES parent anymore, but I remember Coach Sergio well from when my son went there. Coach Sergio was always supportive, always amazing, and attentive when my son lost his dad. TPES should be moving mountains to make sure they don't lose him.

Sergio is an incredible teacher, athlete, mentor, and leader. Sergio made an incredible impact on my kids, and many, many other kids who have attended TPES. Sergio brings a huge smile and positive attitude everyday he comes to work. He teaches his students so much more than learning to play different sports. He teaches sportsmanship, friendship, how to resolve conflict, how to be fair, and competitive, & how to be a good team mate. The passion and love for his job is seen through everything he does. His smile, his positive attitude, his organization, and the true care he takes with every student he teaches. The list goes on forever, and the support for his students does not stop after they leave TPES. He stays in touch, and is always supporting his students. He is a HUGE part of the community. Sergio, is the type of teacher the kids will one day be talking about to their kids. Sergio, was one of the, if not the best, teacher, coach & leader at TPES. It will be a very sad day for the school, if they do not keep a teacher like Sergio on the staff at TPES. It will be a great loss to the community, and the school!
Please keep Coach Sergio on staff at TPES!

After our boys left TPES Coach Segio stayed in touch with our family for many years. He is still interested in our kids sports achievements. We even met him multiple times, unplanned at the slopes of Big Bear and Snow Summit. Sergio is an inspiration to stay fit and exercise on a daily basis! He teaches a skillset that becomes more and more important in the Medical Field. Sergio is a phenomenal person and a born PE teacher! Losing him would be a big loss for TPES.

TPES is not only a school, it’s a community. And coach Sergio is a positive role model at the center of that community; he has done so much for our school. So many good memories I have of elementary school were made possible by such a great, kindhearted coach and inspirational person. Honestly, having gone to TPES for six years, I could not imagine what the school would be without him.
