Here's what you want your son to learn. Commitment, Honesty, Loyalty, Compassion, Dignity, Fairplay, Truth, Honor and Hard work. Jason brings that to the table for your son. It has been my honor to work alongside Jason.

Coach Schmeiser is the BEST coach that this program has ever had, Bar none. I've coached at RB for 25 years playing El Camino for many of them. Since Jason has been there, El Camino is now a program that can be recognized as one of the top programs in the county.

All of the negativity posted doesn't help the EC program or Coach Schmeiser and his family.
If you really want to help, try and be positive, especially if you plan for the district to take action.
Being negative isn't going to get you what you want!

He doesn't deserve to be fired. He's an awesome man who's always had E.C.H.S. students best interest at heart. He's a great coach and substitute teacher when asked to step in. Give him back his job. E.C. is honored and lucky enough to even have him.

I have been a high school umpire for the past 6 years and have umpired many games at El Camino HS where Jason was coaching as well as games he coached while at RBV. Unlike some coaches I have observed over these years, I have always seen Jason show great respect and positive enthusiasm for his players. It is a sad day in our community when a player's unwitnessed claims about a coach's actions are given any more credibility than the coach's statements especially given the inauspicious actions and reputation of that player and his father from past baseball situations.

Coach Schmeiser lead us to Open Division last year for the first time in our school history, and he not only taught us the how to play the game but to prepare us for our next chapter after high school and become fine young gentleman.

Jason is a good man and a good coach. He made a significant impact on the baseball program and he must be reinstated as the coach. Not doing so is a disservice to the players, the baseball program, and the high school. Bring Jason back!

I have been an umpire for 15 years. I have know coach Schmiser since he was at RBV, I have seen many bad coaches at the high school level, coach Schmeiser is one of the class acts in San Diego County. I have never heard him to utter a profanity at any of his players, ever! It would be a black mark on El Camino to drive this talented, dedicated person from the program. The kids will suffer, the program will suffer and the school will be tarnished and may never recover.

The leadership of coach Schneider is validated not only by the success of the kids on the baseball diamond, but in the classroom as well. Do the right thing OUSD - reinstate our coach!
Amen! Well stated Mr. Kelleher-
Please bring coach Jason back!
