this event would bring enough trade to the town for everyone including local traders.instead clitheroe is going to end up becomming a ghost town with probabally more shops closing come the new year.

Bah Humbug Chamber of Trade!!!
Bring something new intop the town and people will come flocking which in turn boosts our trade. There is n't even late night shopping anymore with the traders !

We do need to reconsider this unfortunate decision. Clitheroe as a small town needs opportunity to raise the profile and revenue. The recent mod weekend or food fest should prove this. We do need to have this Christmas event. Common sense much prevail.

I was looking forward to this. I don't usually go into Clitheroe to do any shopping, so this would've brought me into Clitheroe which I would have tied in with visiting established shops too instead of heading into Blackburn or Manchester. I think this decision is ridiculous.
