This is something not only for traders but for the community to get together and celebrate Christmas .....shame on the chamber of trade.

Please will someone explain why this shouldn't happen. The most magical time of the year where we can showcase how lovely Clitheroe is and celebrate a special time of the year with all our family and friends. I just can't believe it. If barnoldswick, skipton and Harrogate can do it... Why can't we ?

Chamber of trade,!! Why? It's one day that your trade may be affected but once people are in town they'll wander into the shops! Get real,, ba humbug! Not one restaurant said the food fest was bad for trade?! It brought people into our beautiful town!

It would be great to have this as an annual event, the people of Clitheroe, traders and visitors could all be involved and take part. Look at how successful the food festival has become, it grows bigger every year! Listen to the people councillors!
