My biggest concern with removing the stoplight at Clark and Park is for the children and people on bikes trying to cross the road at the round about. Traffic doesn't stop and drivers are more worried about not hitting other cars than watching for kids or bikers. Cars typically are moving reasonably fast in round abouts. There needs to be a safe way for them to cross. Many kids use Clark lane to get to Station Park and Farmington Jr. And soon to get to Ascent. Please consider this. Thanks! Justin

Please keep Clark Lane open. There are several concerns which are listed in the accompanying letter. Traffic is already congested with the addition of Station Park. Don't make it worse!

Not only does this create inconveniences for the residents in west farmington, it also creates safety issues regarding emergency vehicles. In the event of an accident a few extra minutes waiting for the re-routed emergency vehicles could prove to be fatal. Please keep Clark Lane open.

The long-term inconvience in putting a light and a jog in what would otherwise be a straigth shot into the City is a bad option. A major thru street like Clark Lane should only be changed if it enhances the flow of traffic---What will be put in the space being vacated?? A gas station?? Let's not block West Farmington access to the City---May be the beginning of the need to eventually create our own City . I suggest that on this issue, West Farmington voters should count as 3 votes per person as they are the only ones impacted. Don't close Clark Lane!!

Here's a better option: if traffic past the Jr High is the issue, close the east fork of the 200w exit, so all exiting traffic is diverted to lagoon drive, then we lowly west siders can loop back to Clark lane and never bother the east siders with out presence. Or better yet, close Clark Lane as planned, but move the fire station and emergency services to the west side of the barricade, then see how much east Farmington needs that road.

This is so disheartening that Farmington city would plan a project like this that is so detrimental to a large part of the community without notification. Such a major change when we have been here over a decade deserves public input. I'm appalled by this action.

Please keep clark lane open. Do not put another freeway in Farmington. It does us no good. Use the money to make public transportation cheaper and better so people will use that. We already have enough pollution. Don't ruin our home.
