To remove functionality of an already adequate situation is ridiculous. The dual purpose perfectly meets the needs of all Valley City citizens. The City Park courts offer refuge to tennis players unable to play on the High School/Parks & Rec courts due to tournaments, practices, meets, etc...

The tennis community is VC is very strong. It’s not fair to them to completely remove tennis courts from the already limited number, when pickleball courts can be added onto them

It’s ridiculous how many times the VCPR will take away tennis opportunities for the city, the students, and all residents, while the program has continued to show growth. If you want to meet the needs of as many people as possible, add pickle ball lines to the tennis courts. Or better yet, build indoor tennis courts so that the clubs can practice in valley city year-round, and not leave the community every time it snows.

We use these tennis courts often in the summer and very rarely are they full. We are often playing alongside a pickleball game, which is great, but I've never seen people waiting in line for pickleball. I have, however, had to change my plans for a family tennis game on several summer evenings because every court is full of people playing tennis. Please keep the tennis courts as they are to support the large number of people who use them for tennis.

I like both tennis and pickleball. I know the jv and junior high tennis players still need use the courts, and sometimes community players.

My family and I have used the City Park Tennis courts for as long as I can remember. Tennis courts can easily server dual purpose for both pickle-ball and Tennis. There would be no logic in restricting them to pickle-ball only. Unless your goal is for them to be used less by the community and high school athletics.

The loss of another set of tennis courts in community would be detrimental to our growing tennis community. It would be in the best interest of the community to make this a dual purpose court.
