Since I was a kid I've always been excited about the mop and now I love to take my own children to share the same experience. Now ur trying to take the one thing we get in the town??

It's disgusting behaviour from the town council.How is 1 bloody ride gonna be called " The Mop" what a flop. You lot at the town council need to rethink what you are destroying instead of sitting there doing nothing for our local community....

Why stop a tradition we have had for years,it benefits the towns shops also when the fair is on,surely with the work being down in town and chaos it's caused we need something positive.

Shouldn't stop the mop that has been coming to us for ove 600 plus years as that is something that everyone looks forward to every year as there isnt much to do in this little town for all ages and the younger children like going to the mop i think its disgusting That is has been stopped this year because of the stupid Refurbishment of the town centre over something that happened for over 600 years

Round here already but to the main event they all look forward to every year has now been taken away! There's plenty of fields and other areas around the town where it could be held
