- Petition to try to save Cirencester's mop fair . CTC have issued a statement explaining this year the fair will be consisting of a single child's ride . . The fair has been coming to our town for over 650 years . It's a very welcome part of our towns historical tradition. Us , the people were only made aware of this ludicrous change today . We are not sure if it's too late to petition the decision . If so we believe the person who made the final decision should be held accountable . The fact of thousands of our children will be stood waiting for a go on a single ride for hours ( it's here for 3!) is appalling . It's not what we want . It's out town . Our tradition & should of been our choice .
- We have to try something . Many useful suggestions have been made under the post on CTC Facebook account . These are being met with " CTC do not own the car parks " who are we paying to park in these ? Why is CTC on the ticket machines & will the owners agree to use ? Many question , maybe too late . We have to try .
