I think it would b great to have it in malahide as I don't drive its the only place I could bring my son

I heard the discussion on Joe Duffy show and am disapointed that this event will succumb to the NIMBY brigade. It is Christmas and these projects lighten up all our lives. A minor inconvenience for a few for a short tme, yet it will brighten up the lives of many others. Allow it to run.

To repeat what my cousins have just said below, don't live in Malahide but 10 of us were travelling down and staying for the weekend. If this is moved we plan to book a hotel in Dublin and go to I believe instead. Feel sorry for business owners in Malahide though and all the disappointed kiddies (and adults!) Shame a few Scrooges are allowed to ruin it for everyone else!

Please hold a public Meeting about this event I know the majority of the residents will attend We want to spend our money locally at Christmas time
