Help this guy out he is a great role model for the students of Hopatcong. The administration of our schools are not seeing the long term picture. If you demote, reassign, and cut salaries your talent will go away. That is the last thing our school system or students need. Cut back on spending for non essentials and keep the quality employees. Your short term solution for cutting quality personnel and salaries WILL be at our expense. How is the administration going to function productively with lower salaries and inexperienced staff when quality employees look for better jobs. Just a thought, we sent manufacturing to other countries now we are at their mercy. If the BOE cuts back on the quality of the teachers, you will be sending students to other schools. Short term win to ruin someone's life and career for administration benefits and pay so you can just walk away after the damage caused and enjoy your retirement on our Tax Dollars.

I was in the marching band in high school Bug's first year of being Athletic Director. He knew who I as and was always good to have a conversation with me. Bug's was the best athletic director the school has ever had

Bugs is a cherished member of the Hopatcong staff. One that the kids look up to and depend on. Stop playing politics and start listening to the kids and what need want and need. Bugs is essential, don’t do this to him or the school. His loss would be greater than any financial gain to come from demoting him.

This man has done everything that has been asked of him. I know this personally since I had children in the high school for 12 straight years. He is always a gentleman and goes above and beyond. I can't believe that the Admin and Board would even think of moving this man. Chris you are well loved by the kids and parents alike and all within our community. Unless he has done something that we are not aware of .... Shame on them

Graduated 16’ and chris had just began his position as athletic director and he sat down with me a few times and helped me through what I was going through and was always there for everyone and went above and beyond his position to see every kid do well. He does not deserve a demotion! He deserves a promotion if anything!

All throughout my HS Bugs has been a great educator, motivator, and most importantly life coach in times were I was lost but didn't want to ask for help he came to me and encouraged me to do was right. HHS would make a major mistake letting this great man go.
