What is this teaching the children? That nature does not matter and can be destroyed when "inconvenient" -- Rise up kids and stop the adults!

Trees are so important for not only the environment but for shade and beauty, please do not cut them down!

Why remove native oaks when there is room available elsewhere on the property with no trees to be removed?

Be good stewrards of the environment! It's something we teach at school and you can be good examples.

For Petaluma to be a green cool block city sometimes known as the tree city removal of this park when other viable options exist is something I do not support.

Since the stated reason for the tree removal has proven to be incorrect, the decision needs to be revisited by board and public.

Yes, hope the school becomes a model for conservation for their students.

These trees serve as homes to wildlife in the neighborhood as well as their albedo effect. The back end of this campus is bare and unsightly and a multi-story building would be an improvement there. Please do the right thing here PCS!

Please consider alternatives that will preserve these important and beautiful trees.

We must save our beautiful and climate protective trees at Cherry Valley. Look again at the actual tree assessments saying most are healthy and need only simple pruning!

We need more trees, not less. Please respectfully reconsider and allow these trees to stay. Thank you.

Seems fairly shortsighted to me - doesn’t appear that cutting mature trees is the only option - please reconsider.

Learn how to take care of trees. And if you don’t know how, that’s ok, then hire someone who knows

I would like to see as many trees as possible be saved in the process of building the new middle school.
