The Works is the most important part of this garden centre. Particularly since they closed the play area.

So short sighted of Hillier Garden Centres to remove a destination concession from its area, it's customers buy their products as well ! To gain the sq footage The Works currently takes up, does not equate to the massive loss of appeal in visiting the garden centre.

Regularly take my children to the works and then spend money in the garden centre while there. Without the works I will rarely be in there.

This would be such a loss to the village. The Works have a wide range of reasonably priced books on all subjects, for all ages & sell lots of reasonably priced stationary & craft items too. They are renowned locally for supporting & contributing to local charities too. They have an, amazing team & it would such a sad, loss to lose them. If Hilliers won’t come to their senses on the strength of the wealth of local, public support it is imperative that a new premise be found for this incredible business in the locale.

The Works is an integral part of the local community and one of the only reasons many people visit the garden centre. Hilliers will certainly suffer from the reduction in products bought as a result of people popping in for The Works. Keep it open.

I often use The Works for birthday and Xmas presents. I buy crafts for my children there. It's a great place for the children to take their pocket money while we buy plants, aquarium, gardening things. We will be losing a valuable store for local families. When I told my partner about the closing date, he said "that's crazy, that's the only day I go there in the year" lol. It's true. Last minute Xmas gifts. I go there much more frequently.
