I really hope they see sense and let the works stay. It is such a fantastic shop and I use it regularly so will be really lost without this store.

This is often the reason why I go to the garden centre! I purchase items from the works then usually spend more in the garden centre cafe! Would hate to lose this !

This would be a huge loss to cheddar. This is my go to shop for all presents as well as stationary needs and books for my children

I shop in the works regularly and it is vitally important to me for it to remain in Hilliers.
My children have special needs and disabilities and accessing the high street is really hard for us.
We go to Cheddar garden centre at least once a week, and often more, it gives my children a sense of the retail world and the world they cannot usually easily access.
Spending money in the works to carry out projects at home is part of our home education programme as is trying to encourage skills that will later help towards more independence. Please, please don't close this vital resource for my children, it really does help me to have a moment out of the house with them that is doing something everyone else takes for granted. I would be happy to speak to you directly and create some PR around you helping us to access this concession in your store, a real act of kindness towards some vulnerable local children who living in a rural area, are often isolated as am I as a 24/7 parent carer.
