It is a absolutely disgraceful and you will lose even more customers. Prices have increased since you have taken over especially in the restaurant. We only came to the centre for our supplies for Brownies, Guides and Rangers from The Works. We will no longer be visiting you as a result of your extremely bad decision.

Such a big shame the only reason I go to garden centre is to the works then look round at everything as I am there won’t be visiting garden centre now !!!

This is so sad I’m a regular customer it’s so great for party gifts and I won’t be a customer as I only ever came to go in there so there are going to loss trade very silly decision

The main reason for me to go to the garden centre 95% of the time is the works. I nearly always end up buying a coffee or something from the garden centre. Wouldn’t make the trip out there without the works being there.

The works is a favourite shop of mine as it has plenty of books and art to occupy my grandchildren. I really think the closing of this store should be carefully considered. When visited we were welcomed by the staff and found exactly what we wanted and proceeded to shop in the rest of the garden centre on recommendations from Lesley the manager.
The garden centre will definitely lose footfall in making such a rash decision.

A foolish decision for Hilliers business. We use the Works there regularly for all sorts. It is our main reason to go into this Garden Centre. We then buy other things too. If osed we will be going into Wells rather than shopping locally.
