As you may have all heard, The club JCU will undergo a few changes next semester that will take away our beloved Cheap Tuesday and change our Themed Club Nights on thursdays to a mere trivia night which closes at 10:30pm. For myself, and I'm sure many of you agree, The Club is a great place to socialise and detach from the stress of the academic part of University. At The Club, we are able to embrace the social aspect of the UNI experience and meet up with friends after hours, enjoy a few drinks and take a step back from the books. The reason for theses changes have been associated with damages on campus. It is naive to believe that taking away a place for people to drink will stop them from drinking and reduce theses damages. In fact they will simply be redirected and focused on colleges. We would like your help to stop these changes and keep our Club the way it is.

10:30pm is way too early to stop a trivia night. People just want to hang out. Let us have our fun.

RIDICULOUS. Punishing everyone for the actions of a few idiots is not the answer.

Uni is stressful enough without taking away the one place everyone goes to actually relax. This is a joke.

Cheap Tuesdays are literally the only reason I get through the week. Dont ruin our social life for no reason.

If they close the club people are just gonna party in the dorms and it will be way worse. Keep it open
