The Chai centre has done more to bring the community in and around Stoneyholme and Daneshouse over many years. The initiative was built on the back of Burnley's race riots and continues to help local families whatever race or creed so keep it open and fund it properly.

The Chai Centre is a valuable resource, helping people achieve holistic wellness through it’s community cafe, gym and space. It was well loved and is sure to be utilised fully if it is kept open.

Used the Chai centre several times a week with my daughter and also did lots of volunteer work there. The last thing this community needs is a loss of essential services.

I would like to see this centre continue. We have already lost the gym and cafe which has caused job losses and loss of customers. Please do not take away the centre as it provides so many resources to so many people.

I come here every week ever since my baby was born in January. I come from nelson purely because he loves it. I have children’s services closer to home but we prefer the chai centre. What a massive shame.

This is a vital facility for ladies living in this area who are very less likely to go anywhere to exercise. I think it is a shame that Govt has considered to close it down.

Closing the centre with no real plan for how they can engage with families in the area on health and wellbeing services. This is not the way to promote improved heatlh outcomes for a very deprived area and is a wreckless approach

losing the community chai centre will only further isolate people resulting in wider health issues and further pressures on nhs services. Prevention starts from these community services!
