Castlehill Hill Church is an essential part of the charme and beauty of Forres. It being destroyed would be a major loss!

Churches have been built on special places and should never be destroyed. They do not have to belong to a religion... I actually prefer them not to.

Dear Claire,
I support you 100 per cent regarding your comments in last week's Northern Scot newspaper ref :- Castlehill Church Forres. I have never believed a word that Moray council have stated to me regarding my Dredging Petition Campaign for the River Lossie to be regularly dredged.
I wish you every success for what you have planned to preserve this beautiful building.
Yours sincerely,

Living in Forres myself, I'm fully supportive of this initiative and would like the church to become a "Book Shop", or an "Antiques Shop". Best wishes.

This beautiful, impressive building has a proud location upon the hill approaching Forres high street, very close to the gorgeous gardens around the Mosset burn. There's no doubt money needs to be spent on this fabulous building, better to invest in it and the local community than to let this old architecture and iconic building fall into regret like so many other classic buildings

This is a beautiful building and a huge part of Forres history, I hate seeing it empty & uncared for.

from listening to the people of Forres when I collected 500 signatures in support of using Castlehill Church for community, I know there is passion for this project. The Forres people love the building and have very happy memories of using it in the past for Boys Brigade and other activities.

It's a beautiful building and such a shame it's in the state it's in.
