Vaccination & biosecurity will be effective in the long term - culling is cruel & ineffective.

I have made my views very clear on other petitions and that is clear we destroy our wildlife and we will all regret it.

I wrote to DEFRA, providing a coherent argument based on the ISG's "10" year trial findings....
The result was they didn't respond to any of my points...
Please at the next election do not vote for any of the MP's that supported this needless slaughter of a "protected" species.

This is a political slaughter. It will not change BTB, only a scientific approach to animal husbandry will

No badgers should be culled as very few have TB & the ones that do have it, caught it from cattle. The answer to this problem is to vaccinate cattle - this was how it was eradicated from humans.
No badgers in cull zones are being tested for TB - so it's a pointless exercise and cruel - so many badgers have been shot and left alive, suffering a long, painful death. This is not right in the UK and this whole cull must be stopped in the whole of the UK.
