As I kid, my family would purchase the annual collection at the theatre right before Thanksgiving and we’d listen to it on the way back home to Pittsburgh over and over (it’s an 8 hour drive after all.) It was part of our Christas kickoff. I was thrilled when I got work on ONE track -- then another, and another... and now with over a dozen, I still consider it an honor to be part of the yearly offering. Orchestras and Casts (as well as crew members who want to jump in too) get to do music different from what they do 8 times a week, and fans get to hear them do something different. It’s artistically rewarding as well as benefiting a fantastic cause. What could be better?! I was already working on a track for this year’s album when I heard the dire news that C4AC is in danger of extinction. I so hope that this holiday chestnut can be saved! Let us know which Ebenezer Scrooge we need to send three ghosts to visit (they will naturally be played by Bernadette, Chita, and Elaine… in that order.)
