The green belt north of the M4 is essential to th eresidents of Cardiff. In addition the traffic flow from the north of Cardiff flowing down the A469 into Cearphilly Road is already extremely heavy during peak periods. the road infrastructure cannot deal with any increase in traffic due to new housing developed north of the M4.

With so much land taken up and ruined by disused buildings it is so important to save the countryside which has been untouched by concrete.

Why is it an ongoing situation for ordinary residents of Cardiff to be trying to persuade this "Labour "of Cardiff and Wales to make sensible decisions to preserve quality and value in our city and culture?

Until they resolve the problem of local highways, in roads and parking, how can they justify building on green belt.

As usual this government forgets that it is there to do the will of the electorate NOT give in to pressure from private business. The green belt is there for a reason.

The housing plan to build on perfectly good greenbelt MUST be stopped or at the very least greatly reduced down. We must preserve the countryside, wildlife habitats, walks and views.
