My son loved Camp Seph Mack last year as one of his first boy scout adventures. My husband went here as a boy also and they have put so much work into it, and it is a wonderful camp for the boys. The proposed plan would be too far for many boys to travel, so we need to keep Seph Mack open because if not, it's the kids who will suffer.

Can not help but wonder about the connection between affiliating with Pittsburgh and the thoughts of closing Camp Seph Mack shortly thereafter.

Seph Mack Boy Scout camp is a great camp for our scouts. It is easy to get to and allows our boys to grow in all aspects of the scout law and oath/promise. It is important to keep Seph Mack open as many scout may not be able to experience the outing in scouting without it. KEEP SEPH MACK OPEN! !!!!!!!!

This was the best camp I've been at and I have been to a lot of camps. Camp seph Mack helped me achieve the rank of eagle scout

Best camp ive ever been at....... i think that like me anyone who has had the pleasure to stay there for camp has the pleasure to call it a home away from home

This is ridiculous, They are slowly down every boys scout camp i grew up going to. I will not allow them to just get rid of a major part of my life. Seph Mack will stay open through the power of the scouts' will!

Since they combined the Keystone district with the Pittsburgh district everything is going down hill.

Most of the morals,respect, and professionalism of our young adults today came from camps just like this one which I attended several times in the 90's closing stuff like this is only contributing to the loss of the above mentioned attributes that our youth these days are lacking can you put a price on the life long memories and life lessons learned though this camp ? BSA this is a high black eye and an embarrassment to your orginazation don't make me regret supporting your organization for all these years.. I never thought you would put the future and goals of the young scouts in jeopardy over your bottom line !!

Camp Seph Mack is truly one of a kind. The hands approach that the staff takes in teaching campers is inspiring. To close it would be a crime.

My son was afraid to go to camp, but after going to camp seph Mack, he now wants to go back every year! This is a great camp that should not be shut down! Many boys started out at this camp and that's the reason they go back year after year, we need to keep that tradition! Some things are just not the same at other camps!

Do not close Camp Seph Mack. It is an important centerpiece for our region in a day of age where the outdoors morals and values are being phased out.
