If we sell the only park in Grenada for families we are just moments away from selling our people...

Camerhogne is not an English word-it is CARIB it means Conception, the beginning, it is part and parcel of the genetic code of all Grenadians, therefore the idea to sell our history to the highest bidder is out of order. It was the Caribs who founded the Caribbean Islands, not Cristofer Columbus, but yet we choose to continue the lies in His-story. No decent investor would want to rob a nation of they wealth by asking for 30 years concession of not paying tax to our country. If this is what tourism is -then tourism has no place in the Caribbean. it would be useless to our people and economy. so who are these so-called investors? The country of FRANCE refuse them-China refuse them, and now their are in our back yard dictating to us. A NATION WHO HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF THEIR HISTORY IS LIKE UNTO A TREE WITH OUT ROOTS. When u erase the history of a people u are able to controlled them like cattle. "they" will replace our history with GUNS, so we can self destruct. Like they do on other Islands.

Granada is not Grand Anse. St. David should be considered for this project. We have lovely beach fronts and real space. We can accommodate more than 400 rooms with more parks and other amenities.

I am sure they can find the Hotel developers a new location.
This Park is a Heritage Spot not for development... The Government who got revoted into office has once again only see dollar signs in their vision!!!

A PARK AND A LONG TIME STANDING OR EXSITING PARK IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO THE PEOPLE. IT PROVIDES FAMILIES TO COME TOGETHER FOR WELL SPENT FAMILY TIME. RECREATIONAL TIME FOR KIDS AND ADULTS. THE PLANTS AND TREES PROVIDE FOOD AND SHELTER FOR BIRDS, BUTTERFILIES, ETC. PLEASE DONT TAKE NO PART OF THIS BEAUTIFUL PARK AWAY FROM THE PEOPLE AND THE CHILDREN OF OUR FUTURE. THANK YOU!

In this age of such awareness of the importance of protecting and conserving our environment as well as healthy living practices positive impacts on longevity, and quality of life, it's simply downright unacceptable for the last public green space heritage of our people -our birthright to be sold in the name of new jobs. One look at all the properties sold and developed in the name of job creation to see if it was worth it for we the people. No more! Enough is enough!

I live in Canada and this park is one of my favorite place to relax when I come home annually, it would be a shame to see it go, money is not every thing some times we have to put the things that matter most in front of that like good family values, preservation of land and culture this are the things that make precious memories. Government members come and go but their mistakes lives with the people forever, please correct this one before it is too late.

I was born in Grenada, I went to school on Grand anse beach, over the years everytime I go back access to the breach has been closed off after being brought by private business. This part of the beach must be saved for the future generations. Stop destroying the last of the green spaces. Once sold privately yet another hotel to destroy the beautiful beach. Say no to this sale.

Camerhogne Park is our place of rest after or half way of an island tour. It is a chill spot for family and friends on any given day. It is also just a relaxing area for all Grenadians. To remove Camerhogne park, is to remove piece of all Grenadians' heart and life. Don't rob grenadians of the little we have that keeps us happy and free. Save the Park!
